For time:
Run 1mile
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Squats
Run 1mile
*Partition the pull ups, push ups, and squats as needed (example: 20 rounds of 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 squats)
*Our mile run is from the garage door to the light pole at 52nd and Ward and back.
*We’ve got plenty of weight vests to throw on today too!
“Murph” is in memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.This workout was one of Mike’s favorites and he’d named it “Body Armor”. From here on it will be referred to as “Murph” in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.

    um, whoa. Last time we did Murph the mile run was to 54th and back. Yup. Just mapped it on mapmyrun. It should be to 54th and back (past 52nd and past Aspen Bussiness park). Whew. You guys almost didn’t run enough! Have fun! 🙂

    This was tough. Played golf on Saturday so I’m glad we had an open gym with Trish and Foust today so I could make it up. I’ll be resting Monday and taking an ice bath with a healthy pour of Stranahan’s neat.
