MURPH DAY FOR THE BURPH DAYS!
 
We are changing the schedule a little today because of the duration of today’s WOD:
7:45am Alpine only class
9:15am class open to public
9:00-11:00am Open Gym
 
“MURPH”
For time:
Run 1 mile
100 Pull ups
200 Push ups
300 Squats
Run 1 mile
 
*Partition the pull ups, push ups, and squats as needed (example: 20 rounds of 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 squats)
*Our mile run is from the garage door to the light pole at 52nd and Ward and back.
*We’ve got plenty of weight vests to throw on today too!
In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.This workout was one of Mike’s favorites and he’d named it “Body Armor”. From here on it will be referred to as “Murph” in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.
