Less than 24 Hours until the announcement of the first Open workout – WOD 14.1!! We will have a 14.1 Announcement party at 6:00pm for those who would like to come watch it at the gym.
 
The Open is always a fun 5 weeks filled with butterflies in the stomach, clammy hands on the barbell, trips to the Game’s Site Leaderboard, big turn-outs for training, and a wholllllle lot of hard work!!  I am looking forward to sharing this experience with you all and let’s have a lot of fun over the next 5 weeks!!

Workout of the Day
Front Squat 3-3-3-3-3
– Find your 3 rep max.
– Post-squat cycle we were scheduled for a 1RM today; however, your FS 3RM is more valuable because your 3RM should be equal to your 1RM Full Clean.  If the two do not correspond, then you have some work to do (ie Clean pull mechanics or receiving mechanics, or strength in the bottom of your FS)
Then,
Four Rounds For Total Reps:
2min AMRAP 6″ Target Burpees
1min RestPost your scores to the Whiteboard.
