I know you are all sick and tired of hearing about Legends – don’t worry this will be my final post until 2015!! =)

Want to congratulate our TEN athletes who participated in Legends this year.  This was incredible because we have never had TEN athletes in an individual competition and we had a HUGE showing from the home team.   Our ladies – Leisa, Megan IsherWHAT, Megan MJ, Ashley, and Heather – all put on very impressive performances with Leisa placing SECOND in the Master’s division which I know she surprised herself a little in the process.  Heather also cracked the top 10 in a very stacked group of ladies and WON the “Tour De Legends”!  IsherWHO and MJ battled each other out for top 15 results with top 5 placements in Event #1 (Ish) and Event #4 (MJ).  Ashley was slightly behind them with a very impressive 4th place finish in the Max Clean and a come-from-behind run in the “Biathlon” to finish 3rd in her heat after being the last off the rower.

The dudes who competed were Cliff, Pete, GDoyle, Galo, and last-minute-I-think-I-can-I-KNOW-I can, Tommy.  I have to highlight Tommy for a sec – many of you know him as he has been training with us for Pro Football combines.  Well, he just returned from graduating college a couple weeks ago and a few days before the event I said, “hey Tommy, we had someone drop out last minute – wanna compete?”  He jumped right on it and we LITERALLY taught him these movements Wednesday (TWO days before the event): Double unders, Toes to bar, KIPPING Toes to Bar, and kipping HSPU – and he put on an impressive performance!  Pete threw down a solid and very well-rounded 4th place in a very competitive group as well and GDoyle cracked the top 10 too and won the “Biathlon”.  Cliff finished in the top 20 and threw down one of the top times in the “21s”.  Galo just BARELY (by one point) missed the podium in the Men’s Masters competition – I know he’s already wanting another shot in 2015!

I really wish I had the opportunity to coach you guys and watch your events because you all were great!!  I need an RZ clone for 2015…

Glad you guys had fun and hope this left you with a little fire in the tank to train even harder .
