Q: HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING CROSSFIT? WHO OR WHAT GOT YOU STARTED?
A: I have been doing CrossFit for a year and a half now. Julie got me started.
Q: TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF: (FAMILY, CAREER, HOBBIES, INTERESTS)
A: I have two boys, Zac and Brayden. I grew up on Denver, and graduated from Arvada West, and Regis University. I have been a Realtor for almost 14 years, and also am licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator. Most of my time in the past has been spent taking my boys to their sporting events, so I am still working on hobbies of my own. I do like to travel and take my kids to new places.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY AT ALPINE CROSSFIT?
A: Friday morning classes.
Q: WHAT WAS YOUR WORKOUT REGIMEN BEFORE JOINING ALPINE?
A: Pretty much non-existent.
Q: HOW HAS CROSSFIT AFFECTED YOUR LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE GYM?
A: I can now carry stuff a lot further than I used to, I don’t get as tired, and my clothes fit better.
Q: IF YOU COULD WRITE A BOOK, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?
A: Personal Finance/Investing geared towards women.
Q: WHAT CATEGORY WOULD YOU BE LEAST EXCITED/MOST EXCITED TO SEE ON JEOPARDY?
A: I have no idea.
Q: WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST WORKOUT, AND WHAT DID YOU THINK AFTER DOING IT?
A: I don’t remember it.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE WOD?
A: Favorite is probably something that is short sprints, and cardio. Least favorite probably includes wall balls, animal walks, burpees.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE MOVEMENTS?
A: I can’t say I have a favorite…. most are my least favorite.
Q: WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE A NEWBIE JUST GETTING STARTED AT ALPINE CROSSFIT?
A: Just keep showing up.
