Q: HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING CROSSFIT? WHO OR WHAT GOT YOU STARTED?
A: I started Crossfit in February 2018. Tonya really loved it so I started training.
Q: TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF: (FAMILY, CAREER, HOBBIES, INTERESTS)
A: I’m married and we have a daughter. I work in Construction Management as a Project Superintendent. Skiing, hanging out with friends. Concerts and sporting events.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY AT ALPINE CROSSFIT?
A: The first time I linked together a few butterfly pullups before class a few months in… Nate yells out “where did THAT come from?” and made me do it again for a video to post on Alpines page.
Q: WHAT WAS YOUR WORKOUT REGIMEN BEFORE JOINING ALPINE?
A: Prior to joining Alpine I mainly skied but never really had a regimen
Q: HOW HAS CROSSFIT AFFECTED YOUR LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE GYM?
A: I have made so many new friends that live the same lifestyle and positively impact my life in and out of the gym
Q: IF YOU COULD WRITE A BOOK, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?
A: I have no idea!
Q: WHAT CATEGORY WOULD YOU BE LEAST EXCITED/MOST EXCITED TO SEE ON JEOPARDY?
A: Most excited is Music/Politics, least exciting is anything dealing with Poetry or Opera
Q: WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST WORKOUT, AND WHAT DID YOU THINK AFTER DOING IT?
A: Don’t remember my first workout, but my first benchmark was Griff and it was terrible. Running backwards is dumb.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE WOD?
A: Favorite is Helen, least favorite is anything with Assault Bike
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE MOVEMENTS?
A: Favorite is Pullups/anything on the bar, least favorite is handstand walking
Q: WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE A NEWBIE JUST GETTING STARTED AT ALPINE CROSSFIT?
A: Stay with it! You’ll be surprised what you’re capable of.
